Memory stick comes with three actual formats such as Pro Memory Stick, Duo Memory Stick and Pro Duo Memory Stick. Sandisk has launched ultra II version of memory stick pro duo and it is more developed memory card which replaces the earlier format of Duo memory stick due to its restriction in transferring speed and capacity range of only 128MB. Pro memory stick is a larger capacity storage device of up to 32GB. Pro duo memory stick is the next version of Pro memory stick. If you want to go more than 4GB of capacity range of memory stick then it is available only in the next form factor of memory stick i.e Duo and Pro duo. Sandisk Memory stick Pro Duo Ultra II does provides all the necessary features as the larger Pro memory stick and also available in all variants.
The concept of Pro Duo is jointly developed by Sony and Sandisk. Sandisk Pro Duo memory stick Ultra II is available up to 4GB of storage capacity. It is suitable for sequential digital photography and high resolution streaming videos. With the availability of 10MB/sec reading speed it is capable to excel the sequential reading speed and helps for a fast image viewing by quickly accessing the data. If used along with high-end digital camera, which is capable of taking rapid shots at one stretch, Sandisk Ultra II memory card will deliver 9MB/sec of sequential writing speed that takes less than a second to store the captured image and give space for quick consecutive shots for high-resolution pictures. This makes Pro Duo Ultra II more compatible with digital camera and Video camcorder. It consumes less power and gives longer battery life.
